Basic Precision Rifle Course – REGISTER HERE

April 24, 2014 @ 8:00 am - April 27, 2014 @ 5:00 pm

The Basic Precision Rifle course is geared toward rifle shooters who are seeking a grounding in the fundamentals of long range marksmanship. Whether you are an experienced rifle shooter or a new owner, this course provides a core curriculum of principles and theories for engaging targets at extended distances. Through the application of these lessons, students can expect to accurately hit static targets from 50 to 800 yards under any field conditions – rain or shine.
The initial portion of this training will consist of a day of classroom exercises with our expert instructors at Silver Eagle Group. This foundation will set students up for success during the live-fire training. The next three days of class will be held at Virginia International Raceway’s outdoor range. Here, students will have a chance to execute the theories and concepts presented in the classroom portion and hone their fundamentals as shooters and spotters. The ultimate learning objective of this training is for students to be able to safely, deliberately, and precisely engage targets out to 800 yards from a prone shooting position.
The students should arrive with a basic understanding of how their precision rifle operates. Each student will also be expected to possess basic firearms handling and safety skills prior to attendance.
