The Defensive Pistol League is open to all and will promote improved marksmanship and defensive shooting techniques for the casual and advanced shooter alike! Proper handgun safety and familiarization is necessary, but no prior pistol competition is required. Come test your skills in a fun, safe competition environment!
The course of fire for the defensive pistol league has been designed around and is based in multiple law enforcement and military qualification standards. The concept is to promote defensive shooting in a friendly setting while challenging the shooter to grow their skills. Each stage is done from a static location and includes multiple shooting techniques, drawing from the holster, reloading, rapid and slow fire, and different shooting positions. During the league, competitors with receive tips and guidance to promote shooter performance.
Matches will be fired each week of scheduled league shooting. The cost for the Winter Defensive Pistol League is $110 for Members, and $125 for Non-Members. The registration fee is for all 6 weeks (January 18th- February 22nd). Members use code: MembersDPL at check-out to receive member pricing. Individuals may “shoot ahead” or “make-up” matches as desired as long as all matches are completed by the last scheduled week of competition.
