Silver Eagle Group’s Intro to Shotgun course provides the solid foundation needed to effectively employ the shotgun in both controlled and real world environments. Only with a comprehensive appreciation of a shotgun’s capabilities, limitations and characteristics can one begin to employ this versatile platform in real world scenarios. During this course you will develop the skills needed to efficiently operate either a pump-action or semi-automatic shotgun and the confidence to identify, react and work through common malfunctions, emergency and deliberate reloads and slug/shot changeovers. Emphasis will be placed on safety, shot placement, patterning, round selection and multiple target engagement.
When signing up, you must provide the make, model, and caliber of the shotgun you will be using.

Duration: 4 hours
Ammunition Requirements: 75 rounds of slug, 25 rounds of 00 buckshot.
Required Gear: Pump action or semi-automatic shotgun (optic optional), sling, shell holders, eye protection, and ear protection. **
Recommended Gear: Drop Pouch, Pen, Paper, Cleaning Kit
