Level 3 Defensive Carbine – REGISTER HERE

July 8, 2013 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

** U.S. FEDERAL LAW REQUIRES YOU TO BE A U.S. CITIZEN TO TAKE THIS CLASS. YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO SHOW A FORM OF CITIZENSHIP ON THE FIRST DAY OF CLASS**

This is the third step in the building block process of our Defensive Firearms Series for the Carbine. This course is designed to take students who have successfully completed our level 1 and 2 courses and increase their skill set a few steps further. The few luxuries afforded to our students in our level 1 and 2 courses will be absent in level 3.

This is a dynamic, stress inoculated training evolution. The course will focus on your safety, mindset, shooting while moving, shooting from adverse angles and unorthodox positions, shooting in low light/no light environments, incapacitated shooting techniques and more. Our goal is that our students leave this course feeling confidant in their abilities to prevail in a violent encounter and masters at running their particular weapon system. We want to take the luck out of winning.

Areas Covered:

  • Safety
  • Presentation – Target acquisition and multiple threat engagement
  • Incapacitation Drills – Clearing malfunctions and shooting one handed, both weak and strong side
  • Immediate and Remedial Action Refresher – Identifying and eliminating malfunctions
