In this unique challenge, participants will be given a Glock pistol converted to shoot non-lethal, training paint marking rounds, which will be shot at targets and not one another. The group will be split into teams and taken through the scenario house for two separate scenario rounds, both of which are timed. The first round will be a Balloon Shoot, in which an instructor will guide each team through a course of fire in which they must successfully shoot all targets (balloons) as they go. After their last balloon has popped, time will be called and recorded. Each team will complete the Balloon Shoot before the second round is begun.
The second round of the team challenge is a combined balloon shoot and VIP Extraction scenario. In this round, our 185 lbs scenario dummy, named Caesar, is placed somewhere on the first floor of the main building. Balloons are hung to act as the “opposing forces”. The goal of each team is to infiltrate the building, shoot any opposing forces, and retrieve the VIP (Caesar) in the least amount of time possible. Once Caesar is brought back to their starting position, time is called and recorded.
Each team’s times from both round 1 and 2 are combined to find their final time.
This is a fun, action packed event that is great for all levels of shooters. It does not use live ammunition and does not require the participants to shoot at one another.
