As the training membership is evolving, we are dividing the Special Skills seminars into two levels- Beginner and Advanced. Our goal is to make each of your comfortable and make training accessible to all levels of shooters.
You are not restricted to either group. If you would like to try the advanced course, we invite you to do so. If you feel you are advanced, but would like to get back to the fundamentals, sign up for the beginner class. If you jump into the wrong class, we will help guide you to where you would best benefit based on your skill level – that’s why your instructors are here for you.
Beginner courses will be focused on development of the shooter for knowledge and understanding so that you are confident in properly applying the fundamentals of shooting. We will work on firearm manipulations, defense shooting techniques, the basics of shooting and moving, introduction to situational awareness, fun shooting drills, etc.
Required Gear: Pistol, Holster, Eye/Ear Protection, Extra magazines, Magazine holster ~ 150 rounds of range ammo, Belt, Comfortable clothes (we have a locker room for those coming from work), a training mindset and a positive attitude.
