This course is designed to ground our students in the fundamentals of shooting while gaining a greater understanding of the shotgun’s characteristics, capabilities and limitations. Students will continue to build on skills learned in the Introduction to Shotgun class while participating in new exercises that will enhance their proficiency and confidence with the shotgun in a defensive posture.

**This is not a beginners course. Prior shotgun experience required.**

Cost: $150.00

Participants: 5 Students Ages 16 and Up. (Under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian)

Duration: 4 hours

Ammunition Requirements: 50 rounds slug and 35 rounds buckshot

Required Gear: Shotgun, eye protection, and ear protection. Please note that all shotguns must have sights and stock. Pistol grip firearms (such as the Mossberg Shockwave, for example) are not allowed in this course.

All equipment, to include shotguns, is available for rent at SEG.

Recommended Gear: Pen and paper, shell pouch or ammunition holder
