This class is the second step in the building block process in our Defensive Firearms Series for pistol and rifle. This course is designed to take students who have successfully completed our Level 1 course and drive their defensive shooting capabilities to the next level. The class focuses on safety, practical defensive shooting, shot progression, multiple target engagement, alternative shooting positions, shooting while moving, target acquisition/discrimination, hard pointing, defensive pistol challenge, and above all – self-confidence.

The critical learning objective of this course is to familiarize the shooter with the essential elements of effective shooting in real world situations. The instruction emphasizes the natural progression of each individual student. Our instructors focus on understanding your unique strengths and weaknesses and strive to develop your individual skills. Our goal is for you to leave here both confident and proficient in handling and manipulating your firearm, push through your boundaries, and advance your skills to become a solid defensive shooter.

*This class incorporates steel targets and requires frangible ammunition*

Cost: $225.00

Participants: 10 Students Ages 21 and Up (Pistol); Ages 18 and Up (Carbine)

8 hours – Two (2) 4-hour sessions broken out over one (1) week

Ammunition Requirements: 500 rounds (400 rounds FMJ + 100 rounds frangible)

Required Gear: Pistol, Strong Side OWB Belt Holster, Magazines (with minimum capacity of 45 rounds), Magazine Holders, Eye and Ear protection.

Required Gear: Zeroed Carbine Rifle w/ Sights or Optics, Sling, (3) 30 round Magazines, Magazine Holders, Eye and ear protection.

Recommended Gear: Drop Pouch, Cleaning Kit

Skill Prerequisites: Level 1 Defensive Pistol or Level 1 Defensive Carbine

Valid forms of Citizenship Identification: Voter Registration Card, Passport, Birth Certificate, Certificate of Naturalization
