This is a 4-hour course devoted to building upon your foundational marksmanship skills\, while simultaneously introducing new methods. Whether you are running a pump-action or semi-automatic\, by the end of the course you will have developed the CORE skills and techniques to efficiently manipulate\, operate and run the gun – you will come with a desire to learn\, you will leave confident. \nWe will teach you to identify problem areas and make immediate corrections to avoid ingraining bad habits and improper techniques. You will train through ammunition management\, emergency and deliberate reloads\, identifying and overcoming common malfunctions\, ready positions\, speed shooting\, and more. Whether you are new to shooting and looking to build confidence through skills development\, or a seasoned shooter looking to enhance your skills\, Core Shotgun Development is the course for you. \nAreas Covered: \n\nSafety\nShotgun Setup – Ammo management with caddies\, side saddles\, and pouches\nPresentations – Target engagement from Ready Positions\nSpeed Shooting\nSelf Diagnosis\nReload Techniques – Speed and Tactical\nSlug Changeover\nImmediate and Remedial Action – Identifying and Eliminating Malfunctions\n\nCost: $165.00 \nParticipants: 5 Students Ages 18 and Up \nDuration: 4 hours \nAmmunition Requirements: 20 Rounds of slugs + 90 rounds of buckshot (birdshot is not permitted) \nRequired Gear: Shotgun\, eye protection\, and ear protection. Please note that all shotguns must have sights and stock. Pistol grip firearms (such as the Mossberg Shockwave\, for example) are not allowed in this course. \nRecommended Gear: Pen and paper\, shell pouch or ammunition holder \nSkill Prerequisites: Introduction to Shotgun.
