Level 2 Dynamic Entry & Room Clearing

** U.S. FEDERAL LAW REQUIRES YOU TO BE A U.S. CITIZEN OR PERMANENT RESIDENT TO TAKE THIS CLASS. YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO SHOW A VALID FORM OF CITIZENSHIP ON THE FIRST DAY OF CLASS **

This class builds on the groundwork laid in Level 1 Dynamic Entry & Room Clearing. We have set the baseline for problem solving through foundational principles that allow repeatable results through the basic fundamental understanding of tactics, techniques and procedures – simple, repeatable and easily duplicated under stress. Through the continued application of those guiding principles, Level 2 Dynamic Entry & Room Clearing enforces, builds and enhances the students ability to overcome the challenges faced while conducting clear and recovery tactics.

The students will enhance their ability to rapidly assess their environment, define priorities, act and reassess, all while maintaining a wholistic picture of the operational setting, preserving a zone of security, and effectively controlling the space. Working individually and as a team, the student will build proficiency through linear progression, repetition and the increased complexity of training. Layering on challenges, the goal of Level 2 Dynamic Entry & Room Clearing is to develop a heightened sense of situational awareness, target discrimination, multiple threat engagement, shot placement, and decision making, all while being able to effectively shoot, move and communicate. Students will navigate the intricacies of close quarter engagement by flowing, clearing and securing multiple structures, utilizing marking rounds, and overcoming the dynamics of close quarter tactics.

**Marking rounds will be used during a portion of the training, however students will not be getting shot with marking rounds.

Ammunition Requirements: None

Required Gear: Belt, Eye Protection

Glock 17 compatible holster will be provided by SEG or you may use your own.

Recommended Gear: N/A

There are no firearms, ammunition, or other weapons allowed during training.

Valid forms of Citizenship Identification: Voter Registration Card, Passport, Birth Certificate, Certificate of Naturalization
