Based on proven military and law enforcement Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs), this course is the first step to becoming equipped with the skills you need to clear, coordinate and effectively control a close quarter engagement. In 8 hours, broken up over 2 nights, we focus on introducing tactical concepts and dynamic actions that can be applied to effectively search and negotiate rooms, hallways, stairwells and large open spaces; and to quickly dominate and secure the area.

The class will cover techniques on how to correctly move through doorways, enter and clear rooms, exit a room, move through a home or building, and use target discrimination – quickly identifying threats and applying the appropriate level of force. Using the crawl, walk, run method of instruction you will learn the techniques step-by-step for each individual.

Duration: 8 hours – Two (2) 4-hour sessions broken out over one (1) week

There are no firearms, ammunition, or other weapons allowed during training.

Skill Prerequisites: Prior handgun experience.

Valid forms of U.S. Citizenship Identification: Voter Registration Card, Passport, Birth Certificate, Certificate of Naturalization.
